Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Clean Best Australia collects, why we collect it, how we hold it, when we disclose it, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Who this policy applies to
Clean Best Australia operates cleanbestaustralia.com.au and provides cleaning services across Sydney and New South Wales from 54 Columbia Rd, Seven Hills NSW 2147. This policy applies to everyone who contacts us, requests a quote, engages our services, or visits this website.
What we collect
We collect only the information we need in order to quote for, schedule and deliver cleaning work, and to invoice for it. In practice that means:
- Your name, organisation, email address and phone number, when you contact us or request a scope and price.
- Site information: the addresses to be cleaned, access arrangements, floor areas, surfaces, operating hours and any constraints you tell us about.
- Access credentials where you provide them — key details, lockbox codes or alarm procedures — held on the site register solely so the assigned cleaner can enter the premises.
- Correspondence between us, including notes taken during a site inspection and the findings of monthly supervisor audits.
- Billing details necessary to raise and reconcile an invoice.
We do not collect sensitive information as defined by the Privacy Act, and we do not ask you for it. If you volunteer it, we will not record it.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, inspect and quote your site, write the cleaning specification, assign and induct a cleaner, deliver the work, audit it, invoice you, and answer any question you raise about any of the above. We do not use your information for any other purpose without your consent, and we do not sell it to anybody under any circumstances.
Marketing
We do not run marketing email programmes and we do not add enquirers to a mailing list. If we contact you it is because you contacted us, or because we have work in progress together. Should that ever change, any marketing communication would carry a working unsubscribe link and honouring it would be immediate.
Who we disclose it to
Personal information is disclosed only where it is necessary to deliver the service you have engaged us for:
- To the cleaner or supervisor assigned to your site, so they can attend and complete the work.
- To our insurers or professional advisers, where a claim or a legal obligation genuinely requires it.
- To a building manager or managing agent, where you have asked us to supply compliance documentation on your behalf.
- To a law enforcement agency or regulator where we are legally compelled to do so.
We do not disclose personal information to overseas recipients, and we do not sell, rent or trade it.
Access credentials and site security
Keys, codes and alarm procedures are treated as the most sensitive information we hold. They are recorded on the site register, disclosed only to the cleaners and supervisors assigned to that site, and returned or revoked immediately when an agreement ends. If you believe a credential has been compromised, call us on 1300 494 983 and we will change the arrangement the same day.
How we hold your information
Information is stored in access-controlled systems and, where records are held on paper, in a secured office at our Seven Hills premises. Access is limited to the people who need it to do their work. We keep records for as long as the engagement requires and for as long afterwards as our legal and tax obligations demand, and we destroy or de-identify them once that period has passed.
This website
When you submit the quote form, the details you entered are sent over an encrypted connection to the form-handling service we use, which delivers them to us as an email and passes them to nobody else. They are used only to answer your enquiry. The site does not set advertising cookies and does not build behavioural profiles of visitors. Standard, aggregated web analytics may be used to understand which pages are read; that data is not used to identify you.
Access and correction
You may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us to correct anything that is wrong. Email hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au or call 1300 494 983. We will respond within a reasonable period, and we will not charge you for a straightforward request. If we decline a request, we will tell you why in writing.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first and we will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which oversees compliance with the Privacy Act.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a revised date at the top. Material changes affecting an existing client would be communicated directly rather than left to be discovered here.
